Hi Friend,

I'll be participating in a 2-day major cycling event called The Ride to Conquer Cancer benefiting The Princess Margaret, one of the top 5 cancer research hospitals in the world.

My Christmas wish to all of you is your support in helping me, "Conquer cancer in my lifetime"!!!

Cancer touched my life when I was 7 years old, by attacking my fathers body. My dad fought against this invisible enemy and won, with the help of the Princess Margaret radiation department and the residential lodge that facilitates patients from outside of the GTA.

According to the National Cancer Institute of Canada, over 153,100 new cases of cancer and 70,400 deaths from cancer were estimated to occur in 2006. Men outnumber women for new cases by 5% and mortality by 11%. That's why I'm riding. To do something BIG about cancer. I hope that you'll share this incredible adventure with me by supporting me in my fundraising efforts.

Please help!!

Hello everyone!!   Just a quick note to see how everyone is, but to also ask for a favour!  I have signed myself up to do the "Ride to Conquer Cancer" for the Princess Margaret Hospital.  In doing this, I have committed myself to fund raising $2500 and am actively looking for any assistance that I can get.    Thank you to all of you how have donated already!!!  Greatly appreciated!!  And to all of you considering, remember that there is a tax receipt for anything over $15 and it is a write off!!  I know that this request comes right before summer vacation, but I really appreciate anything that you can give!   Thank you in advance for your support!!   Holly

Sorry for the delay in the latest updates.  O.K., so yes I know that it has been 3 months.  Give a girl a break, it has been a busy 3 months!!  Just as Kris...LOL..!!! 

 

All things are well at the shop!  The boys (Scott, Nick, Stef, and 3 newbies Stacey, Caleb and Fraiser) and girl are in the store and eager to help everyone with all their cycling needs.  As for Kris, myself, Ben and Brad we are still here and looking forward to seeing all of you and hearing about your latest adventures on a bike!!!

Sorry it has taken me so long to update.  All is well in the store, 2007 stock is arriving daily and all of us are putting our best foot forward to assure its hits the floor ASAP!!!
